Let’s Begin with the Affirmation for Week 40!

“I HAVE A VOICE”

There have been many times where my voice felt like suffocation as I spoke. This is a remaining effect of its absence stemming from my childhood sexual abuse. I might express my voice with slight bursts or in a rambunctious pose- my child-within still seems to speak through it.

“I HAVE A VOICE”

The measure of my voice will set its own precepts. Today as an adult, I understand the depth of my voice.  It does have power, and I may choose to use it to bring some form of enlightenment for myself and my surroundings.

My child-within needs balance to thrive in her adult years, a special time of personalized self-development. Today “I Have a Voice”, and my inner-gratitude may be proclaimed through the abundant flow of expressed art- music, dance, literature, sports, art, film, teaching, and so on.

“I HAVE A VOICE”

As a sexual abuse survivor, I may have not discovered my powerful voice. I can take time to find it again by listening for positive feedback, or I can even re-invent my own unique voice with daily affirmations. I have the strength to research and discover my voice.

“I HAVE A VOICE”

I may find balance in my voice where it’s no longer too soft or deafening in my surroundings. This new self-expression through my child-within is pleasing to me. As a sexual abuse survivor, it is no longer necessary to feel enclosed from myself nor my environment because “I Have a Voice” and I can express it.

No matter where you are right now on your journey as a sexual abuse survivor, remember that there is more to you than what the eye may perceive of the self at this time. You are a Survivor- Stay in action on your healing journey every day and meditate on these concepts, I Have a Voice.”

Visualize the Affirmation, see it in color or as shaded black and white, however, the mind perceives it, allow for the current response to form naturally. Listen to yourself without judgment and begin to frequently journal this process as you transition the mind to higher knowledge of yourself.

Our reality at balance begins at the very moment as the work is placed forth by your intent to grow and change for the betterment of self, aiding in the improvement of mankind!
