Let’s Begin with the Affirmation for Week 43!

“I DESERVE to BE LOVED”

During my early childhood years, I may have perceived love in a state of opposition based on the non-representation of affection in my surroundings. Due to this, I’ve always felt that my needs weren’t being fulfilled in my relationships, work, or school as a sexual abuse survivor.  I’d worryingly seek, in my little way, for someone to notice or care for me so that I can be a reflection of love through them.

In the past, the impulsive behavior to place people or things before myself may have been an easier practice for me to cope as a sexual abuse survivor, disregarding inward pain. Could I be searching for some form of resolution in the people or things that are near me today that do not reciprocate in love? Are my surroundings fully supported and cared for? These types of questions as a sexual abuse survivor are prominent to establish self-love, a natural and deserving state!

Today I am aware that I DESERVE to BE LOVED”, but this can ONLY begin with the love of MYSELF, first!  My past experiences, as a sexual abuse survivor could bring a strong sense of what love is through a form of reflection- (journaling, talking, meditation), time- (having patience), and allowing space to heal- (being truthful\honest). Soon enough,  I will begin to feel deserving of loveand my “conditions” will be supported by the daily acts of respectable love for myself as a sexual abuse survivor!

No matter where you are right now on your journey as a sexual abuse survivor, remember that there is more to you than what the eye may perceive of the self at this time.  You are a Survivor-Stay in action on your healing journey every day and meditate on these concepts,“ I DESERVE to BE LOVED.”

Visualize the Affirmation, see it in color or as shaded black and white, however, the mind perceives it, allow for the current response to form naturally.  Listen to yourself without judgment and begin to frequently journal this process as you transition the mind to higher knowledge of yourself.

Our reality at balance begins at the very moment as the work is placed forth by your intent to grow and change for the betterment of self, aiding in the improvement of mankind!
